In a video on TikTok, the vendor showed how she made a fake cake with butter for the unsuspecting client.

She said she would send the fake cake to the client. Words overlaid on her video read:

"This is the fake cake I'm sending to that customer that did fake transfer."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a cake vendor had delivered yam peels to a client who tricked her with a fake transfer.

A viral video captured how she poured the yam peels into a small carton, sealed it and handed it to her dispatch rider.

The clip caused a commotion on X (formerly Twitter). Confirming the incident, the vendor, via her account @thebantaa, said she made sure the customer paid for the yam peels delivery. On how she achieved that, she said she told the dispatch rider to get the payment for the package first before handing it to the unsuspecting client.
