He mentioned that the lady could sue for breach of contract of carriage, assault and battery, defamation and privacy violation.
In a tweet, he said:
“I’ve watched the video, read some other context from blogs and all I can say is that, from a legal standpoint this woman has a very good case against Akwa Ibom Air and she can sue for hundreds of millions and will likely win. Here’s my take ;
“Firstly this is clear case of - Breach of Contract of Carriage. Usually, and it’s sad a lot of Nigerians are unaware of their rights in this regard but when you purchase a ticket, you enter into a contract with the airline for safe, dignified, and timely carriage from one destination to another.
"Unlawful ejection from the aircraft without lawful justification especially in this way and manner that left this lady naked with her lady parts in the public and further recorded and posted on the internet constitutes a breach of that contract. This woman is entitled to damages for the great and possibly lifelong humiliation she has suffered.

“2nd point is - Assault and Battery. Another fact Nigerians are unaware of is that our laws recognises that any unwanted physical contact, especially in a forceful removal especially by unauthorized persons, may amount to battery. The use of unnecessary force can give rise to both civil claims for damages and possible criminal liability for the individuals involved.
“The Third and most crucial point - Defamation & Violation of Privacy. Being stripped naked in public—particularly with others recording the incident definitely leads to reputational harm."
