A report made available to Legit.ng stated that Fisayo's ailment has gulped his finances and money he had saved up while he worked as a chemical engineer in the oil sector.

For many years now, Fisayo would travel a long distance by public transit to Babcock University Teaching Hospital where he has been receiving treatment for years. He undergoes dialysis 2 to 3 times a week.

He needs N20m but has N7m

The young man needs the sum of $ 50k (N20 million) for a kidney transplant but has been able to raise $18k (N7 million) thanks to a GoFundMe campaign his friends set up on his behalf.

On efforts they have made at reaching the singer's family, Fisayo said his people had contacted the Adeleke family of Ede through the Greenspring Development Foundation owned by them and headed by chairman Dr. Adedeji Adeleke (Davido's father) but haven't got any feedback.

Airport worker begs Davido after singer's tip of N38k got him sacked from work

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that an airport worker had begged Davido after the singer's N38k tip got him sacked from work.

In the video, the airport worker revealed that he ran into trouble with his employers after the father of three gifted him some money. A few weeks ago, a video of the singer tipping the unnamed man the sum of N38k ($100) went viral. The video seemed to have got the attention of the airport authorities as they fired the man.

Nigerians have been complaining about the culture of begging in many airports, calling the government to do something about it. To curtail such an attitude, workers have been warned to desist from begging travellers for money.
