Wanja Mwaura, a Kenyan nurse well known for her kindness, has fulfilled her promise to a needy family.

Handing house over

In a Tuesday, November 9 social media post calling for donations to carter for the finishing touches on the house, Wanja said she would officially hand it over on Saturday, November 13.

“We have done it. Today and tomorrow we are doing the final touches of the house. I need your help to finish this. The children will be coming home for their midterm next week, let us give them a good home to come to,” she said.

Wanja stated that she needed funds to pay the masons and build a gutter.

She also called on her Facebook followers, who contributed to the project, to attend the handover ceremony.

Quick turnaround time

The short time Wanja took to fulfil the pledge is commendable, as she kicked off the project in September.

Right before construction began, she visited the children’s great grandfather, and he gave them a piece of land on which to build the house.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a kind Nigerian lady had built a 3-bedroom house for a poor widow who lived in a mud house.

The unidentified lady who runs a humanitarian foundation called the Nma Millionaire Heart shared on Facebook that she had accosted the lady in a dilapidated old mud house with her little kids somewhere in Imo state on July 30.

The philanthropist explained that the fully furnished house has two big water tanks, is fortified with protectors as well as tiles covering almost everywhere in the apartment.
