NCAN Changes Venue for 2026 Nigerian Cashew Day Conference

The National Cashew Association of Nigeria (NCAN) has announced a change in venue for the 4th Edition of the Nigerian Cashew Day Conference scheduled to hold from January 22 to 24, 2026.
In a statement issued on behalf of the association, NCAN disclosed that the event, earlier slated for the State House Banquet Hall, will now take place at the Shehu Musa Ya’Adua Centre, opposite the Abuja Continental Hotel, in the Federal Capital Territory.

Venue change due to logistical challenges
Explaining the development, the association said the decision followed unresolved logistical issues associated with the initial venue.
“This change became necessary due to unresolved logistical issues associated with the initial venue. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this adjustment may cause and kindly request the understanding of all participants,” the statement read.

NCAN assured stakeholders, participants and international partners that the conference remains firmly on course despite the venue adjustment.
Conference set to boost Nigerian cashew industry
The association reaffirmed its commitment to using the 2026 Nigerian Cashew Day Conference as a platform to advance the growth and transformation of the cashew sector in Nigeria.
“We wish to assure Nigerians and our international partners that the conference remains fully on course and is strategically positioned to open new vistas for the growth and transformation of the Nigerian cashew industry,” NCAN stated.
It added that the interest of Nigeria and the collective advancement of the cashew industry remain its highest priority.
NCAN pledges landmark event for stakeholders
According to the association, the National Executive, working closely with all state chapters, is fully aligned and committed to delivering a landmark conference.
“The National Executive, in collaboration with all State Executives, is committed to delivering a conference that will signal a new beginning for the cashew industry, drive meaningful reforms and create lasting value for the sector,” the statement said.

Platform for farmers, investors and partners
NCAN noted that the 2026 Nigerian Cashew Day Conference will serve as a catalyst for addressing the aspirations of cashew farmers, processors, exporters, investors and development partners, while strengthening collaboration across the value chain.
The association expressed appreciation to stakeholders for their patience and continued trust, assuring them that the outcomes of the conference would make participation worthwhile.
“We look forward to welcoming you and assuring you that the 2026 Nigerian Cashew Day will be a rewarding and memorable experience,” the statement concluded.
