Three Police officers have been gunned down at a check point in Egbe community in Yagba west local government of Kogi state.

The Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP William Aya, confirmed this to newsmen in Lokoja on Wednesday

He added that the incident happened in the early hours of Wednesday at the boundary between kogi and kwara states.
