NNPP Chieftain Greets Onipokia of Ipokia ahead of Coronation Anniversary

• The Onipokia of Ipokia kingdom, Oba (Dr) Yisa Sola Adeniyi Olaniyan, in Ogun state, is set for a double celebration to commemorate his 55th birthday and second year on the throne
• Damilare Abioro, an NNPP chieftain, extended his greetings to the traditional rulers and congratulated him on the feat
• Popular Fuji maestro, King Wasiu Ayinde, is expected to thrill the audience with classical music blended with culture

Organisers are concluding arrangements for the double celebrations of Onipokia of Ipokia kingdom, Oba (Dr) Yisa Sola Adeniyi Olaniyan, on the occasion of his Fifth Coronation anniversary and 55th birthday celebration.

The weeklong event is scheduled to feature several activities to celebrate the top traditional ruler. The milestone event is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 11 a.m. at District High School, Ipokia.

Speaking about the upcoming event after meeting with Oba Olaniyan, a chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Damilare Abioro, described the monarch as "a visionary leader whose dedication to the welfare of his people has left a lasting impact on present and unborn generations.

Abioro speaks on Onipokia's coronation anniversary

According to the NNPP chieftain, the fifth coronation anniversary and 55th birthday celebration are being organised to celebrate the life of the Charismatic and Enigmatic leadership of Onipokia and to appreciate God over his life.

The revered monarch has demonstrated quality Leadership in the area of development of his kingdom. Abioro said:

"This remarkable leadership attribute has endeared him to his subjects and as well among the traditional institutions in the entire Ogun State.

"Since his ascension to the throne of his forebearers, the Ipokia kingdom has witnessed tremendous progress and tranquillity, as well as peace, unity, and progress, earning him the admiration of his people and beyond.

"Notable dignitaries from all walks of life, including traditional rulers, political figures, business moguls, and members of the community, are expected to grace the occasion.

"The event will feature special prayers, goodwill messages, cultural performances, and a banquet to honour the successes of Oba Olaniyan to his darling community."

Popular Fuji maestro, King Wasiu Ayinde, is expected to thrill the audience with classical music blended with culture.

This happened at a time when politicians are making alignment and realignment ahead of the 2027 general election. Abioro was the senatorial aspirant of the NNPP in the 2023 general election.
