Nigerian comendian, Abdulgafar Ahmad, popularly known as Cute Abiola has been freed by the Nigerian Navy.
The Punch reports that Cute Abiola who was reported missing on Monday, November 15, has been released by the Navy.
Confirming his release, the spokesperson for the Nigerian Navy, Commodore Suleman Dahun, said Cute Abiola is no longer in detention.
Dahun also noted that the online comedian is currently serving his punishment from allegations of "knowingly violating armed forces rules"

Premium Times had on Wednesday, December 1, reported that the Nigerian Navy had kept mum over the disapperance of Cute Abiola.
The report said it was exactly 18 days of Cute Abiola's detention by the Navy for violating the Nigerian Armed Forces Social Media Policy is still in custody of the navy.
According to the report the policy specifically stated the do's and don'ts of officers employed under the Nigerian Armed Forces.
Mr Macaroni raises alarm about Cute Abiola's disapperance
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Cute Abiola, who boasts of about four million followers on Instagram was reported missing by his comedian colleague and #ENDSARS activist, Debo Macaroni.
Mr. Macaroni while raising an alarm on his Instagram page posted a screenshot of the message he received on Cute Abiola.
Macaroni noted that Cute Abiola was detained by the Nigerian Navy with no food and word on the situation of the comedian.

In another instance, Cute Abiola sent a WhatsApp Meesage to a friend of his and the text was made public.
The comedian’s last WhatsApp chat with a friend made the rounds on social media where he gave insight into his situation.
In the chat, the comedian confided in his friend that he could not talk at that moment because he was on a ‘hot seat’.
