Nigerian singer Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, also known as Reekado Banks, has responded to a critic who insulted him for attending a church service, alleging it was because he failed in the music industry.
The incident began when prominent content producer Kesari posted on Instagram that he was thinking about getting closer to God but wasn't sure whether to follow Christianity or Islam. In response, Reekado Banks invited him to his church.

A viral video then surfaced showing Reekado and Kesari worshipping together, eliciting varied emotions online. While many praised the effort, one netizen made a contentious remark:
"When they fail at music, they start going to church."
The ex-Mavin Records signee did not let the jab slide. Taking to his page, he responded in a video:
