For three tense days, the family of the popular Mbadiwe twins, former Big Brother Naija housemates, lived in fear after their younger brother, Odera Mbadiwe, went missing.

On Wednesday, September 3, the family declared him missing, igniting widespread concern.

On Thursday night, September 4, 2025, the Lagos State Police Command confirmed what many had been praying for. Odera was found alive, but in a distressed condition.

Police spokesman Babaseyi Oluseyi announced in a statement posted on X.

Oluseyi wrote:

"He has been reunited with his family members and is receiving medical attention."

While the exact circumstances of his disappearance and distress remain unclear, the news of his safety brought a huge sigh of relief to family, friends, and well-wishers.

The Mbadiwe twins, who gained popularity during their stint on Big Brother Naija, had earlier used their platforms to appeal to Nigerians for help in finding their brother.
