Rwandan Gospel Singer Gogo Gloriose Is Dead, Nigerians Mourn: “She Made Us Laugh on TikTok”

Nigerians have joined Rwandans in mourning the loss of Rwandan gospel singer Gloriose Musabyimana, better known as Gogo Gloriose.
According to reports, Gogo died on Wednesday, September 3, in Kampala, at the age of 36. The gospel singer's death was, however, confirmed on Thursday, September 4, 2025, by her media manager, Bikem wa Yesu.

The reports of her death came as a shock to fans in Rwanda, Uganda, and Nigeria.
Bikem, who had traveled with Gogo to Uganda for a series of concerts, expressed his grief on social media, writing:

The cause of her death has not been publicised. PulseUG disclosed that she had been struggling with heart-related complications.
