Yinka Theisen, the former fiancée of actor Linc Edochie, is refusing to back down after being hit with a staggering N500m lawsuit by May Edochi.

May’s lawsuit and heavy demands

On August 19, 2025, May’s legal team at Gray Law Partners issued a cease-and-desist notice, demanding that Theisen retract alleged defamatory posts, issue a public apology, and pay a whopping ₦500 million in damages.

The notice claimed Theisen’s online statements had not only harmed May’s reputation but also fueled a wave of cyberattacks against her, causing “irreparable harm” to both her image and business.

But if May thought the threat of financial penalties would silence her, Theisen made it clear she had no such intentions.

Reacting on Instagram, Theisen accused May of putting her life in danger by allegedly sharing her private address publicly.

Calling the lawsuit a joke, she warned that she was ready to fight back with her own legal action:

She wrote:

“Once again May Yul Edochie has violated my privacy. Putting my address on social media. You are truly insane!” You think you are the only one that can file a law suit? Be ready for a life long law suit.”

Not stopping there, Theisen went further in another post, branding May “a clown” and daring her to proceed with the case.
