The comedian tragically lost his life in a ghastly motor accident while travelling, and news of his untimely demise sparked widespread sadness.

Videos from his last days also circulated online, with fans feeling emotional as they watched the skit done days before his death.

During the burial, a family member asked Sanku’s friends and associates to return all of his belongings in their possession.

The man emphasised that they should not say the comedian was no longer alive, but rather do what is necessary regarding his money and properties.

In the recording, the late comedian’s family also conveyed a message, urging his friends and associates, whom he owed, to reach out to the family.

The speaker noted that even if they were too shy to come forward publicly, they should contact the family privately.

Fans react to request by Sanku's family

Fans of the late comedian reacted strongly after seeing the video.

Many expressed that the deceased should be respected, and such matters should not be brought up publicly immediately after his death.

However, a few others noted that this practice aligns with Islamic traditions.

Sanku was reported to have been travelling in Oyo State on September 1 and is believed to have lost control of the vehicle before crashing.

News of the accident was shared by content creator Jidex Klothing, who initially said things did not look good for the comedian's survival.

Later, he was among those to confirm that Sanku had indeed passed away.
