Actress Wumi Toriola has responded to her senior colleague, Afeez Owo, after he shared his thoughts about her personality in a recent interview.

In the chat with Behind The Fame – African List, Afeez, who is married to actress Mide Martins, said Wumi only reacts when provoked.

The actor stressed that she doesn’t take nonsense but will never lash out unless someone crosses the line.

But Wumi wasn’t impressed.

The actress, in a since-deleted video, dragged her senior colleague with biting words.

She said:

“So should we also go and rent a husband to hold the mic and spoil things? The person this sub is for knows it already. You’re an elder, please stop this,” she said.

Wumi further blasted him for dragging rifts into podcast conversations.

She blasted:

“Must every rift now be dragged to podcasts? They gave you a mic, and you started talking rubbish. They gave you pepper soup, and you began blabbing. Am I a mad woman? Will I lash out if people don’t offend me? Have I ever insulted you before? Despite all your unfortunate behaviours, I still respect you.”

Afeez Owo discusses marriage crisis

Legit.ng earlier reported that Afeez Owo spoke about the marital crisis that rocked his union with actress Mide Martins nine years ago.

The actor, who has been married to Mide since 2003, revealed that their 2016 separation was blown out of proportion because of social media.

Back then, fans were surprised when Mide Martins confirmed online that her husband had walked out of their matrimonial home “after a minor argument over the well-being of his children.”
