As Nigerians continue to mourn the tragic demise of Ruth Otabor, the younger sister of Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Phyna, a new report disclosed that the representatives of Dangote Group on Sunday collected the remains of the deceased from the hospital where she passed away.
Legit.ng recalls reporting Ruth, who underwent a leg amputation after being involved in an accident with a Dangote truck in Auchi, Edo State.

Ruth passed away on Sunday, August 31, as the Otabor family announced her death through a statement by Eko Solicitors & Advocates.

However, PUNCH reported that a family source disclosed that representatives of Dangote Group were immediately contacted after Ruth passed away and subsequently took her body to the mortuary.
The source added that they were expecting Dangote Group to take over the expenses of Ruth's burial.
“When she died this morning, the representatives of Dangote Group were contacted and notified. They later came and took the corpse to the mortuary. We are expecting that they take over the expenses of her burial, since they had stepped in to take over her medical expenses,” the source who pleaded anonymity said.
Another relative described the late Ruth as a cheerful and affectionate person.
In related news, Legit.ng reported that Dangote Group mourned Ruth in a press release after her death.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Izzy Ogbeide reacted to the death of Ruth Otabor, a sister to Phyna.
Izzy Ogbeide, in a video, lashed out at VeryDarkMan as she shared how the critic drew public sympathy away from Phyna and her family.
The content creator, who shared the video on her Instagram page, also locked her comment section, preventing people from reacting.
