Popular radio broadcaster Oriyomi Hamzat has caused a buzz on social media following a video of him apologising to singer Azeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, during an on-air programme at his radio station, Agidigbo FM, located in Ibadan, Oyo state.
In the viral video, Oriyomi also announced that Agidigbo FM will now resume playing Naira Marley's songs, ending a two-year ban on all Marlian Records music from the station.

The broadcaster noted that Naira Marley's songs will begin to be played again on his radio station, Agidigbo FM, as he led the way for other radio presenters by playing a song by the singer.

It should be recalled that in September 2023, the broadcaster had banned Naira Marley and Marlian songs following the circumstances surrounding the death of the late rapper Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad, who was formerly signed to the singer's label.

Youths demand justice for Mohbad
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported a video of some youths taking to the streets to demand justice for Mohbad.
The youths, who were spotted with placards, were heard chanting, "We don't need VDM, we only want real justice for Mohbad.
Reacting to the viral video, some netizens alleged that the youths in the video were paid to protest against VDM.
