Mr Jollof Apologizes to Fans, Says Message to Wizkid Came from Place of Love

Earlier on, Delta state comedian, Mr Jollof, had claimed that Wizkid was trying to capitalise on Davido's popularity with their upcoming music tour.

Well, after getting dragged by Wizkid's and his associates, it appears Mr Jollof is taking back his words.

In a recent statement released by the self-acclaimed social critic, Jollof explained that his comments about Wizkid came from a place of love.

Part of the statement wrote:

"My recent message towards Ayo Balogun (WIZKID) was borne from a place of deep love for the artist,though not received in that manner, which led to an online outburst and banters. I would like to reiterate that Mr Jollof brand is one to support YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS, both growing and established. It is heartbreaking when the positive energy with which I render such support is regarded as inconsequential and downtrodden."

He went on to apologize to his fans for letting his emotions get the better part of him. Check out the post below:

Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid doesn’t seem to be letting up amid his ongoing fracas with social media influencer and senior colleague, Mr Jollof.

The singer took to his Snapchat page with yet another heavy and indirect shade at Mr Jollof who has been dragging him online.

Recall that previously reported that Mr Jollof lampooned the Made in Lagos (MIL) crooner for taking a swipe at his family and also accused Wizkid of failing to redeem a N10m promise to him.

Wizkid's bodyguard trolls Mr Jollof

Meanwhile, previously reported that singer Wizkid's bodyguard, Roy Obinna, took a swipe at social media influencer, Mr Jollof.

Obinna in an Instagram post made fun of the Delta comedian for seeking financial assistance from Wizkid.

"Lean on me no mean say make you choke m. Normally too much beggi beggi no good sha. The only entitlement guaranteed should be the fruits of one’s own labour," he wrote.
