The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) has officially released the list of successful candidates for its 2025/2026 Overseas Scholarship Scheme for Master’s and Doctoral studies on September 4.

The announcement follows the conclusion of a rigorous selection process, which included an interview exercise conducted between 14 and 25 July 2025.

Successful Candidates for PTDF Scholarship Urged to Confirm Status

PTDF management advised all applicants who took part in the interview phase to visit the Fund’s official website at www.ptdf.gov.ng to verify their selection status.

The scholarship programme, which supports postgraduate studies abroad in petroleum-related disciplines, remains one of Nigeria’s most competitive and prestigious academic funding opportunities.

PTDF Induction Ceremony Scheduled for September 10th

In a related development, PTDF confirmed that a virtual induction ceremony for all successful awardees has been scheduled for Wednesday, 10 September 2025.

According to the Fund, invitations containing full details and access links will be sent directly to the registered email addresses of the selected candidates.

The PTDF extended its congratulations to all recipients and expressed optimism about their participation in the forthcoming induction programme.

The Fund reiterated its commitment to fostering academic excellence and building capacity in Nigeria’s petroleum sector through strategic investment in human capital.
