Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder, John Ogu, proposed to his girlfriend after helping his Israeli league team, Hapoel Beer Sheva to defeat Macabi Petahwas 5 – 2.
Ogu’s Saturday was made exceptional after he proposed to his girlfriend Chiugo at the end of the match.

However, the midfielder took to social-media to express his feelings. Using his tweeter handle, Ogu tweeted: "Thank you great God. Great result and above all she said YES!!!!," Ogu wrote on his Twitter handle.
The 27-year-old play-maker, finally revealed to Complete Sports that the couple will be keeping the details of their wedding private “the plan is between both of us and it has started.”
However, Nigeria’s Anthony Nwakaeme, scored a brace in the 1st and 89th minutes of the game.
