Fresh: Ycee Releases Jagaban Video

Indigenous rap music is gaining momentum with the rise of new rappers, out to give established ones a run for their money.

One of the young bloods is Tinny Entertainment rapper Ycee whose first single, Condo, in which he featured Patoranking was an instant hit. His second studio effort ‘Jagaban’ was released two months after Condo.

In Jagaban, with its up-tempo beats, Ycee explores his rap skills even more than he did in the reggae/dancehall Condo.

Ycee is releasing the video for Jagaban tonight, September 8, two months after the single hits the airwaves. It is produced by D'Will.

Ycee got two nominations at the just concluded Nigeria Entertainment Awards held in London last Sunday. His Condo single was nominated in the Best Collabo of the Year and Best Video of the Year categories. The video was directed by celebrated music video director, Clarence Peters.
