Boko Haram Kill Seven In Fresh Borno Attack

Suspected Boko Haram insurgents on June 15, Monday, bombed the area near Alagarino village, Borno state, killing seven people.

According to Sahara reporters, the insurgents planted explosives  along the Damboa-Biu roads. When the device detonated, at least three soldiers, one mobile  police officer (mopol) and three other people were killed.

The mopol's wife was said to have been shocked by the news. She could not believe it when she arrived to the post of his primary assignment.

A security source disclosed:

"It was a horrible accident. The vehicle was damaged beyond recognition. However, three soldiers survived it but they were seriously injured."

Boko Haram terrorists continue ravaging the northeast of the country. President Muhammadu Buhari has carried out several diplomatic trips aimed at discussing the security situation in Nigeria and Africa. He has attended meetings in Niger, Chad, Germany and South Africa. Next destination is Cameroon.

As for the practical steps, Buhari directed the relocation of military command center from Abuja to Maiduguri and ordered the release of $21million for the needs of the Multinational Joint Task Force.
