Pastor Tunde Bakare Prays For Buhari, Osinbajo And GEJ

The prayer points that Pastor Tunde Bakare of the Latter Rain Assembly raised during today's service has got our attention!

Earlier on today in church, the pastor, who was also the running mate of the president-elect, Rtd Gen Muhammadu Buhari,  during the 2011 election, unleashed some prayers.  The prayers were on behalf of  the president-elect Muhammadu Buhari.

Recall that various prophecies had come when the presidential election was approaching; Some of these prophecies had pointed that the president-elect will not win but if he does, he will die as a serving president. The Nigerian Prophetic-Apostolic pastor who has received national and international attention for his televangelism, which has sometimes been critical of the Nigerian government raised a few prayer points to combat the 'evil' prophecies. ''Everyone who has ever thought GMB will die, he will attend their funeral''. Bakare is definitely not playing as he also called for prayers for President Jonathan and Vice President-elect Yemi Osinbajo. See the tweets below:

The 60-year-old Abeokuta born pastor was reportedly arrested in March 2002 after preaching sermons critical of then-president Olusegun Obasanjo. He has appeared as a preacher on AIT television. The Nigerian presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday, 31 January, announced Pastor Tunde Bakare of the Latter Rain Assembly, Lagos as his running mate for the 2011 Nigerian presidential election which he accepted. CPC lost the presidential election to PDP, and Pastor Bakare remains a fierce critic of the Nigerian government and leadership.
