Group Wants National Assembly To Review Criminal Code

The Youth Alliance for Good Governance and National Unity (YAGGANU) at the weekend urged the National Assembly to review the nation’s criminal code.

A statement signed by its national coordinator, Reuben Akpan and general secretary, Abu Temitope, noted that the development would reduce corruption to the minimum in the country. “We suggest the China option which despite being the largest economy today, punishes cases of corruption tendencies. We need to elect leaders that are trusted with no traces of corruption,” the group said.
