Actor Okon Lagos Tells Nigerian Government to Ask Other Countries for Help Over Insecurity Issues

Nollywood actor Bishop Ime popularly known as Okon Lagos has expressed concern over the insecurity in the country.

In a video he shared on his Instagram page, the actor was seen addressing the Nigerian government.

According to him, there is nothing shameful in approaching members of the global community for help.

He asks:

"We know we cannot protect and defend ourselves, why don't we go and look for help in other countries?"

Noting how government officials travel abroad for medical services, the actor said they should also ask for help over the state of insecurity.

Help us - Okon tells the international community

The actor urged the international community not to ignore what is happening in Nigeria and come to the people's aid.

Noting how the war in Sierra Leone put a burden on Europe, Okon asked how the international community is going to accommodate 200 million Nigerians if a war breaks out.

According to the actor, members of the international community should forcefully help Nigerians.

Noting that he can't exactly explain how he feels, Okon described his daughter as his debut as a dad.

The actor then showered prayers on her, stating that she would do better than him in life. He also prayed that she would live in good health.
