Deputy commissioner of police Abba Kyari has caused quite a stir on social media after photos of him riding a motorcycle emerged online.
In the photos that were posted on Facebook by his younger brother Muhammed Kyari, the police officer could be seen riding a motorcycle on two different occasions.
In one of the photos, he is seen alone on a bike. The other photo shows him giving another man a ride.
The police officer shared the photos on his page and Facebook users flooded his comment section with positive reactions.
Mala Mohammed Garba said:
"That's what makes him different, his simplicity."
Salihu Mohammed Chado commented:
"No evil can dare him.. Allah's protection is always with him."
Kennedyjohnsyn Obinna wrote:
"That means he is a straight forward man."
Chimdimma Stephanie said:
"Is this not how it should be? Shouldn't they dwell among their people? Continue doing good Mr. Abba"
Sheikh Sheikh was, however, not impressed with the photos. He wrote:
"Not impressive at all. He should be very careful and avoid the deceptive comments and likes for merely riding a bike.
"This is not simplicity but stupidity."

The policeman had hosted music star Davido and former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, Frodd, in his office.
Sharing the photo post, Kyari explained that the visit was in celebration of an award from the National Assembly.
"Super Star Musician Davido Came to celebrate our Award for Outstanding Service from the National Assembly with us today in the Office."
