Good news as Atletico Madrid Superstar Regain Consciousness Minutes After Collapsing During Training Session

France international Moussa Dembele gave Atletico Madrid teammates a scare after fainting during Atletico Madrid training on Tuesday, March 23.

The 24-year-old was with a couple of his colleagues following the routine warm-up exercises when he suddenly fell on the ground.

He laid unconscious on the pitch for some minutes before coming back to life, thanks to the help of the club's medical team, and he was able to leave the pitch unassisted.

Afterward, the Frenchman has gone to the hospital for a proper check-up following the worrying incident, and reports claim there is no 'serious' concern. Sources claim the forward has low blood pressure.

The Spanish League table-toppers signed the attacker on a short-term loan deal earlier this year with an option to make it permanent depending on his performances.

He was handed jersey No 19 previously worn by Spanish striker Diego Costa. The player has however failed to break into Diego Simeone's starting XI.

Dembele, who has been linked with a move to Barcelona has made just two La Liga appearances so far, but Simeone is willing to give the striker more opportunities to prove himself, according to Daily Mail quoting Marca.

Legit.ng earlier reported that ex-Liverpool and Chilean international star Mark Gonzalez has suffered a heart attack, his wife Maura Rivera announced.

The 36-year-old is currently recovering from the scare after the news of his ailment was broken on Instagram by his wife.
