Nigerian woman showers encomium on her grandpa who invented Alabukun

A Nigerian woman identified as Bimbola Wright has taken to social media to celebrate her late grandfather, Jacob Odulate, who invented Alabukun Powder, a popular analgesic.

According to Wright, Odulate who died in 1962 was an out-of-the-box thinker. He was said to have sent his daughters to the United Kingdom universities for degree courses at a time a few Nigerians had such privilege.

Wright said:

"Grandpapa combined leadership, innovative and critical thinking skills brilliantly. He built the incredible Alabukun brand which has outlived him and he birthed generations of super-achievers. What an inspiring individual. Well done Grandpapa, your legacy lives on."

In a previous report by Legit.ng, a Nigerian man with the Twitter handle @Iam_ChisomLucky took to the social media platform to celebrate his grandpa who turned 113 years.

The young man shared adorable photos from the centenarian's birthday, and tweeps flooded his comment section to celebrate the old man and wish him well.
