In what may come as a surprise to many, Nigerian singer Davido and gospel musician, Tope Alabi, will be sharing a stage together come February 14 at a religious event hosted by Primate Ayodele’s ministry.

The two music stars were lined up among those scheduled to perform at the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church’s annual thanksgiving and appreciation event.

An announcement was shared on the official Facebook page of the ministry. It was stated that the event is an opportunity for the lord to be appreciated, and to also thank those who have contributed to the church in one way or another.

The post read:

"On Sunday, February 14th, the servant of God will be celebrating with dignitaries to mark the auspicious event tagged LIVING IN A PEACEFUL WORLD. On this day he is going to appreciate and support people who has in one way support and make the ministry grow, the announcement read in part."

Also expected to grace the event is Amb. Per Stefson, world peace president, Denmark.

In a different story about Davido, Legit.ng previously reported that retired Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, took to social media to set things straight regarding a popular quote used by the music star.

The quote, "we rise by lifting others", gained popularity on social media after singer Davido made it a part of his acceptance speech at the 2018 edition of the Headies award.
