Angry Chelsea supporters hung a banner outside one of the entrance gates at Stamford Bridge to show their frustrations about Frank Lampard's sacking, Daily Mail.

Thomas Tuchel replaced the English boss after 18months in charge of the Blues which did not sit well with fans as the banner reads 'circus continues'.

The German manager's first game for the Blues ended in a 0-0 scoreline against Wolves who defeated the team by 2-1 while Lampard was in charge.

Lampard is the tenth manager given the boot by Roman Abramovic since taking over the club and the Russian billionaire believes his poor performances led to the difficult decision taken by the board.

Chelsea faithful also let blue smoke off to show their displeasure in the sacking of the club's highest goalscorer.

One fan said regarding the banner:

A second added

"The message is spot on."

"Our best ever player was still manager whilst the club were recruiting another manager, wasn't able to say goodbye to players and staff, experienced players making younger players feel uncomfortable, could go on."

A fourth said:

"Always thought the managers were mercenaries I now know it's us the supporters who are the hired hands.
"I backed Supr Frank just like I've backed every CFC manager, through ups and downs, for the first time I feel guilty, the connection isn't the same. Win or lose up the Blues."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Mason Mount has shown appreciation to sacked Chelsea boss Frank Lampard saying he has nothing but praise and gratitude for him, Daily Mail.

After a year and a half at Stamford Bridge, the Blues had to relieve Lampard of his duties and bring in another, Thomas Tuchel.

Mount has become a key member of the present Chelsea squad and the England national team with the help of Lampard in the last two seasons.
