Grammy recognises Nigerian producer Bankulli for contribution on Beyonce’s album

- Nigerian music producer, Abisagboola ‘Bankulli’ Oluseun, was recently recognised by Grammy award organisers

- The music star was celebrated for his participation on Beyonce’s Grammy-nominated album, The Lion King: The Gift

- The obviously excited Bankuli shared a photo of his certificate online and thanked God, Beyonce and the organisers

It was a time of great celebration for Nigeria’s Abisagboola Oluseun, popularly known as Bankulli after he was recognised by the Grammys for his work on Beyonce’s album.

Bankulli who worked on Beyonce’s The Lion King: The Gift, was celebrated for his role as a vocalist, vocal producer and songwriter on the project.

The Lion King: The Gift also had a Grammy nomination of Best Pop Vocal Album.

Taking to social media, Bankulli shared the good news with fans. He posted a photo of his certificate from the Recording Academy and accompanied it with a caption to express his gratitude.

Bankulli also thanked Beyonce for the special opportunity to work on her project.

This is coming after Legit.ng reported that Nigerian superstars, Wizkid and Burna Boy, had big wins at the recently held Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards.

Wizkid snagged the award, yet again, for the Best African Act at the award show. The MOBO Awards happened on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, virtually on YouTube.

Wizkid was the winner of the category which had a competitive lineup of stars like Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, etc.

Also stealing the show at the MOBOs was Burna Boy who made Nigeria proud as he emerged winner in his own category.
