A popular Nigerian singer, Lax, recently responded to a fan who said that his music career started to thrive after he left Wizkid.
The singer, whose real name is Damilola Afolabi, used to be signed on to Wizkid’s label but he did not seem to make waves as expected.
A fan identified as DAwobodu on Twitter shared a post where he claimed Lax’s career started to improve after he left Wizkid.
Explaining further, the fan said it was another indication that the Made in Lagos star only helped himself and not others.

Well, it appeared the fan was very wrong because Lax responded to the tweet and showed his allegiance to Wizkid.

This is coming shortly after Legit.ng reported that Lax has become a proud new home-owner.
LAX took to his Twitter page to make the disclosure and well-wishers flooded the comment section of his post to congratulate him.
He said he dreamt of a day when he would become a landlord in Lagos, adding that the day had finally come.
It was also reported that a troll reacted to the singer's new property and said owning a house was not an achievement.
@Obidi had quoted LAX’s announcement post with a comment suggesting that owning a home should not be seen as an achievement.
However, the post by Obidi seemed to have set a lot of people off as many were quick to caution and dismiss her submission.
