Ogenyi Onazi was seen in footage as he sped-off after a number of area boys swarmed his car in their bid to extort money from him.

Street boys in Lagos are famous for trailing celebrities, footballers, as well as politicians upon citing them in public, and Onazi’s case was not different.

The 27-year-old SønderjyskE of Denmark midfielder personally posted the clip on his Instagram handle as he looked not too impressed with the ‘touts’.

It appeared Onazi has stopped to exchange pleasantries with the boys, but efforts to calm them down proved abortive as they took turns in their attempt to get something off him.

Only recently, another Eagles star John Ogu expressed exceptional affection for young boys on the streets of Lagos after he received special hailing due to his status as a Super Eagles’ player.

He is said to be at home in Lagos and in a clip he posted on his Twitter handle, Ogu was seen in his car with boys attempting to sweet-talk him to part away with some money.

In their typical fashion, the boys hailed the 32-year-old with streets slangs like ‘opor’ - translated to mean ‘plenty’. As Ogu attempted to make a call, one of the boys said:

"Number one, God go dey promote you. As you dey bless the street, God go dey bless you."

Others in the background chanted the Lagos slogan ‘ko ni baje’ ‘Opor’.

It was gathered that the Nigerian international was not allowed to seat where he wanted and this got him furious as he sensationally dropped from the bus.

The reports also stated that Brugge were observing the social distancing rules in their team bus and the striker would be fined for his unruly behaviour.
