A Nigerian man has done the unusual as he could be seen in a video selling the portrait of a suspected internet fraudster, Raymond Igbalode popularly known as Hushppupi.

Recall that Hushppupi was arrested in Dubai and extradited to the United States over fraud-related allegations.

In a rather funny video, a man was seen selling the portrait of the suspect in traffic for the sum of N30,000.

Apart from the fact that the young man is trying to make some money for himself by selling Hushpuppi's portrait, his action also implies that he sees the suspected fraudster as a legend whose portrait some people would be interested in hanging on their walls.

In the video, a man in a car pretended to be interested in buying the portrait and asked the seller how much it is worth and jokingly asked who the person in the portrait is.

The seller told him that the portrait is worth N30,000 and that the person in the portrait is Hushpuppi.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) said the agency was not involved in the arrest of the popular Nigerian Instagram celebrity.

Hushpuppi was arrested in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) alongside his colleagues by International Police (Interpol) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for alleged fraud.

In other news, a United States court dismissed the case against Olalekan Ponle popularly known as Woodberry, who was accused of multi-million dollars wire fraud.

Woodberry was extradited to the United States after his arrest alongside Hushpuppi in the United Arab Emirates on June 10, for multiple fraud charges after a raid by operatives of the Dubai crime unit.
