Posting on her Instagram account, the mother of two celebrated her mom's birthday in a sweet and loving message.
She showered her mother with praises saying she is a wise woman and one who many would turn to for steady guidance.
"Happy birthday, Mom! Anyone who knows my mom knows that she is the one to turn to for steady guidance, a wise perspective, and, of course, a wisecrack or two," wrote the former First Lady.
Further into the post, Michelle expressed her gratitude saying she was so lucky to grow up with such a mom.
"I have been so lucky to grow up with all of this and more. I love you," she added.
Shields Robinson turned 83 years old on Wednesday, July 29. She was born in the year 1937 according to Wikipedia.
