A former senator representing Kaduna central, Shehu Sani, has declared that the repeated killings in southern Kaduna are acts of terrorism.

Many people have been killed in communities in Kaura, Zangon-Kataf, Kauru and Kajuru local government areas of the state.

Sani who disclosed this in a statement on Saturday, July 25, said the killings are acts of terrorism and should be treated as such, The Cable reports.

“The continuous violence and bloodshed in southern Kaduna stands is unconscionable and stands unreservedly condemned,” he said.

“The blood of the innocent is being spilt in the most unimaginably cruel and unspeakably evil manner and with impunity. In southern Kaduna, the north has lost its conscience and the nation has lost its will and spirit. Terrorists have turned southern Kaduna to a mortuary and a graveyard," he added.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that popular Nigerian singer Joel lost his father to the ongoing killings in Southern Kaduna.

The Kennis music star in a post shared on his Twitter page on Saturday, July 7, disclosed that his dad was allegedly shot by herdsmen.

Legit.ng reported that the music star took to his page on Instagram to cry out over the sudden disappearance of his father and some other villagers following an attack on them.

Joel had called on Governor El-Rufai and other security agencies to look into the situation in the village.

Unfortunately, hours after his outcry, the entertainer has now lost his parent. In the post shared on his Twitter page, Joel noted that his mum and sisters are far too destabilized to talk to him.
