Popular British singer Adele who split from her charity boss husband Simon Konecki, 45, is currently going through a divorce and the speculations going round the internet has caused massive reactions.
According to reports, Adele who got married to Konecki in 2017, did not strike up a prenuptial to protect her wealth. Following their separation, it has been reported that the Hello singer gave Konecki a house close to her N3.1 billion (£6.9million) mansion in Beverly Hills.
Although the couple's agreement to share custody of their son Angelo is public knowledge, her request for the settlement to be private was approved by a court in LA.

According to The Sun, details including financial, sales or other confidential business information will not be available to the public, while those who require access will be forced to sign an NDA.
However, speculations currently circulating the internet suggests the singer whose net worth is (N67.4 billion) £150 million, has been ordered to pay Konecki a whopping N64.8 billion (£144 million) as a divorce settlement.
This, however, has caused mixed reactions online. While some people believe it is unfair as she hustled hard for her money, others believe it is more than fair with some citing Jeff Bezos' divorce as an example.

Recall in 2019, court documents filed by the 31-year-old singer on September 12, in Los Angeles confirmed she had split with Simon Konecki.
The two had split due to a shift in lifestyles as a result of Adele’s busy schedule as she rose in fame, which prompted them to grow apart after eight years of being together, E News reported.
Meanwhile, a Nigerian lawyer identified as First Baba Isa has taken to social media to call out a lady identified as Annebrafa. The lawyer called her out on his Facebook page over a post she shared on Twitter.
Legit.ng had reported that the lady claimed that over four thousand divorce applications have been submitted in Abuja this year. The lady also noted that some of the divorce applications are from marriages less than a year old.
