Mr Macaroni opens up on acting career and how he started skits

- Mr Macaroni has taken to social media to reveal some interesting facts about him

- Much to the surprise of many, the comedian revealed he has been into acting since 2012

- Macaroni also revealed doing online skits were never in his plans of gaining fame

Indeed, with hard work, persistence and determination, achieving one's goal is very possible. This is reflected in the story of now-famous Instagram comedian, Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni.

A Twitter user recently took to the micro-blogging platform to express surprise at seeing the comedian in a Nollywood film. Mr Macaroni however, left many people even more stunned when he revealed he has been into acting for a while.

The comedian revealed he has been acting since 2012 but producers frustrated him into doing online skits.

"Since 2012.. From one audition to another... Soap Operas, English movies, Yoruba movies, stage, radio gigs. It was the frustration of waiting for producers to give me movie roles that made me start doing online videos last year," he tweeted.

He went on to reveal that he never wanted to do online videos as he felt he was bigger than that. He stated that he only wanted to do big movies and stage productions.

However, God had other plans for him.

Mr Macaroni also opened up on how his now famous slang, "ooiin" came about.

'The Ooin thing came in when I did the supermarket video. I said it casually and people went Gaga about it. I guess we just have to keep doing our thing while exploring different means of doing it. Hopefully by God’s grace, one pulls through."

Recall a while back, the comedian on March 5, 2020, celebrated his passing out from NYSC. The comedian known for his 'sugar daddy' skits on Instagram, also opened up about his journey.

In a lengthy Instagram caption, he opened up on his struggles towards becoming a graduate. Adebayo who graduated in 2009, revealed he went to 4 different universities between that time and 2019 when he eventually graduated.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian creative director identified as @xa_ajay shared a piece of advice he received from his friend. @xa_ajay took to the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to tell his followers what his friend told him.

The creative director said that his friend just concluded his divorce to his wife legally. According to him, they had two kids together. @xa_ajay explained that his friend broke up with his wife because he caught her cheating on him with her ex-boyfriend.
