Edinson Cavani who plays as a striker for French side Paris-Saint-Germain was linked with a move to Premier League side Chelsea before the transfer window closed, but there was no deal done between the two clubs.

Edison Cavani was reported to be frustrated at Paris-Saint-Germain and wanted to leave the club according to many reports.

Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has now stated clearly that he would have loved the Blues to bring Uruguay international to Stamford Bridge for him to learn more from him.

Tammy Abraham has been leading Chelsea's attack this season in all and the England international has been superb scoring 15 goals.

And since the Blues chiefs failed to land another striker in the January transfer window, it means Tammy Abraham will carry the burden up front until the end of the season.

Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud are still available at Stamford Bridge, but the these two stars have failed to command regular playing time like Tammy Abraham.

He however explained that many of his teammates were talking about the possibility of signing Edinson Cavani for the Blues.

Abraham added that it would have been great for Edinson Cavani to be become his teammate stressing that he would have learned from the experiences he has.

Meanwhile, the Blues are presently placed fourth position on the Premier League standings with 41 points after 25 games played so far.
