Gernot Rohr was appointed head coach of the Super Eagles in 2016 - replacing Sunday Oliseh and qualified the team for both World Cup in 2018, and AFCON in 2019.
It would be recalled that Nigeria missed out of two editions of the continental championships before Rohr's arrival three years back.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Gernot Rohr decided to replace Francis Uzoho with Maduka Okoye due to Ikechukwu Ezenwa's limited playing time for both club and country.
The German born goalkeeper came on in the 60th minute following Uzoho's terrible injury during Brazil friendly game in Singapore.
Rohr insisted that Ezenwa does not even command shirt in the home based Eagles squad for the past few months.
