Buhari doesn't need to campaign in Adamawa - Bindow

- Adamawa governor has said the state will vote for President Buhari whether he campaigned or not

- According to Governor Bindow, Buhari has done much for the people in Adamawa and the northeast

- The governor said when the APC returns to power, it will continue the good work it started

Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrila Bindow has said President Muhammadu Buhari does not need to campaign in Adamawa state because of everything the president has done for the state and northeast geo-political zone.

Bindow, at the 2019 flag-off campaign of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yola, urged the people to vote for President Buhari and the party’s National Assembly candidates, so the president can have a Senate who supports him.

Bindow said: “For Buhari, we don’t even need to campaign because of what he has done for us in Adamawa and the north-east. If you elect somebody, you don’t need to ask what he has done. You need to see it on ground.

"When we return, we will continue what we have started doing in the state."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Adams Oshiomhole, national chairman of the APC, on Tuesday, January 8, received the gubernatorial candidates of 11 political parties who defected to the APC in Adamawa.

Oshiomhole received the defectors at the flag off of Governor Muhammadu Bindow’s 2019 election campaign in Yola.

The national chairman said that the collapse of the other gubernatorial candidates to join APC was a great signed of progress for the party.
