- According to Governor Bindow, Buhari has done much for the people in Adamawa and the northeast
- The governor said when the APC returns to power, it will continue the good work it started
Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrila Bindow has said President Muhammadu Buhari does not need to campaign in Adamawa state because of everything the president has done for the state and northeast geo-political zone.
Bindow, at the 2019 flag-off campaign of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yola, urged the people to vote for President Buhari and the party’s National Assembly candidates, so the president can have a Senate who supports him.
Bindow said: “For Buhari, we don’t even need to campaign because of what he has done for us in Adamawa and the north-east. If you elect somebody, you don’t need to ask what he has done. You need to see it on ground.
"When we return, we will continue what we have started doing in the state."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Adams Oshiomhole, national chairman of the APC, on Tuesday, January 8, received the gubernatorial candidates of 11 political parties who defected to the APC in Adamawa.
