Singer Olamide is torn apart as he mourns the loss of his mother. The Science Students crooner was left with a million emotions when he shared a post celebrating his son's third birthday, only to share news of his mum's passing some hours later.

Expressing sadness on social media, Olamide shared a post of black background mourning his mother. This came shortly after he shared a photo of himself and his son, Batifèori Maximiliano Adedeji, wishing him a splendid third birthday celebration.
The singer captioned the mourning post with: " Orisa bi iya o si " which simply translates to; "There's no deity like a mother"
Olamide's mum passed on January 30, same date as his son's birthday. The cause of the death is currently unknown but it is clear that the same date will be a memorable one for the talented rapper.
