Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo claims he know the reason why the Argentine superstar was benched against the Italian Champions.

And according to reports reaching Legit.ng, Valverde has made the same decision with Messi.

The Spaniard said: "He has built up a lot of games and we thought this time he could come on for the second half.
