Enugu governor offers university scholarship to student who made all A's in her WAEC (photos)

- A student who made all As in her West African Exam has been offered a scholarship to any university

- The young lady who is from Enugu state was offered the scholarship by the state governor

A young Nigerian girl from Enugu state Cynthia Chinecherem has been offered university scholarship by the state governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

You may recall that Legit.ng had earlier reported that Chinecherem made all As in her West African Exam Council (WAEC).

Not long after her story made the news the young lady received support from Nigerians who donated over N500,000 for her and rallied the government to give her support.

It seems like the young’s hard work has paid off with more blessings coming her way, the Enugu state governor has also offered her scholarship to school anywhere she wants.

Governor Ugwuanyi noted that he was excited to hear that a student from Enugu had made such an inspiring result.

He said: "I was excited beyond measure when news got to me that a young girl from our dear State made A1 in all her subjects at the last West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations. I was excited because as a leader of the people, our vision has been to lay the foundations that does not just encourage but also rewards excellence across all spheres of endeavour.”

The governor also called on all students in the state to follow the young girl’s example and be the best they can be.
