- He questioned why the APC which Oshiomhole belongs to and which the former governor praised, is dominated by PDP members
- He claimed the APC has no direction and no plans for the country
Nigerians have been urged by the Ahmed Makarfi faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to ignore the former governor of Edo state Adams Oshiomhole.
According to reports, Dayo Adeyeye, the spokesman of the Makarfi faction said Oshiomhole speaks from both sides of his mouth.
The spokesperson made his comments in reaction to a statement credited to the former governor where he claimed that if ex-president Goodluck Jonathan had remained as president, Nigeria would have been endangered.

Adeyeye released a statement saying: “Oshiomhole is known for making unguarded statements and therefore, not worthy of our response.
“But it is better to ask him, why is the APC, which he is praising now, dominated by more than 75 per cent of our members?
“They have won and taken over. But is that why they took the economy into recession? Would Jonathan have done that? The answer is no.
“For more than two years after they assumed the leadership of the country, they have no plan and have no direction. Is that a government?
“Oshiomhole is not a person to be taken seriously. He talks with the two sides of his mouth. So, Nigerians must ignore him.”

Legit.ng previously reported that the former governor of Edo state Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, said he withdrew his support for former President Goodluck Jonathan because he believed that a Jonathan second term would have ruined the country.
Before the 2015 general election, Oshiomhole was the only south-south governor in the opposition party and some expected that Oshiomhole’s hands might be tied by his geographical kinship with the former president.
