- The video has gone viral

This is the rapturous moment a South African community celebrates its graduates the traditional way.

It is said in Africa that it takes a village to raise children.

It follows then that the community was there in song and dance when its children graduated from Walter Sisulu University in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape.

In the video, members of the community rush to welcome the graduates with warm hugs.

They are heard singing in joy and the happiness is infectious. The graduates also join in the song.
