The Premier Soccer League (PSL) is the administrative body overseeing professional football in South Africa. Established in 1996, it was formed through a merger between the National Soccer League and remnants of the National Professional Soccer League, aiming to unify and professionalize football in the country. Affiliated with the South African Football Association (SAFA), the PSL organizes the nation's top two professional divisions:
- Betway Premiership (formerly known as the DStv Premiership)
- Motsepe Foundation Championship (formerly the National First Division)
In addition to league competitions, the PSL manages several domestic cup tournaments:
- MTN8
- Nedbank Cup
- Carling Knockout Cup
- DStv Diski Challenge (reserve league)
