Boniface Discloses His Reply to Media Girl Who Insulted Him but Begged for Money in DM

  • Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface has revived the incident between himself and a podcaster who labelled him talentless
  • The sports presenter threw jabs at the former Bayer Leverkusen player for focusing more on social media activities rather than goal-scoring
  • Boniface and Wolves striker Tolu Arokodare were guests on a podcast show, opening up about their challenges

Victor Boniface is not ready to let go of how a sports presenter labelled him a player without talent.

The podcaster had said the Nigerian international constantly goes online to make comic posts and engage in giveaways to his fans.

She explained that the former Bayer Leverkusen player has not cemented his place in the Super Eagles squad and lacks talent, a statement that Boniface wasted no time in firing back.

Lady posts chat with man who cautioned her against posting herself on TikTok, people react

In a viral post on Instagram, the 24-year-old narrated how a podcaster spoke about him not having football talent.

The Super Eagles said he told the podcaster to send her banking details, but blocked her before she could reply. He said:

"So there was a time I searched my name online (Twitter), and there's a random lady saying I don't have a talent. I searched for that and saw what she said. I said okay, let me look for this lady, then I went to her Instagram.
"One mind told me to send this girl a message via DM; it's funny, but listen. She said I did not have a talent, so I opened my message; guess what is there? She has been asking me for money for a long time; you understand. You're saying I don't have a talent, and you're in my DM begging me for money.

Negative comments motivate me - Arokodare

Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare said his mental therapy after every bad game is to visit his socials.

Speaking on The Culture League podcast, the former Genk player said he picks the positives from every negative comment online. He said:

"Deleting your socials for attention is too much because it's your life and you have to dictate what happens. For me personally, I wouldn't do it.
"When people are saying negative things about me, I do look for it. Just like I go searching for it. For me, it's motivation.
"When I am down mentally, or like I'm feeling down after a bad game or something, I go look for those things because to be honest, I don't always want to hear all those nice stuff. When they are saying those negative things, there's some truth in there. I look for it, and then I love to prove people wrong."
