Chelsea fans remain worried as there has yet to be any official information regarding the injury status of Cole Palmer after the attacker withdrew from the win over West Ham.

Palmer, who was originally named in the starting 11, left the warmup early. Brazilian youngster Estevao Willian replaced him for his full debut.

Chelsea bounced back from a goal down to beat West Ham, coached by their former manager Graham Potter, thanks to goals from Joao Pedro, Pedro Neto, Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo and Trevoh Chalobah.

Enzo Maresca confirmed after the game that the forward was struggling with a groin problem and played through it against Crystal Palace, but did not want further risk.

Maresca claimed that he will undergo a scan the following day to ascertain the extent of the injury and how long he will be out for, but there has yet to be an official statement.

Chelsea fans worried over Cole Palmer

The Blues will face neighbours Fulham in Saturday's lunchtime kick-off at Stamford Bridge, and fans are asking whether their star man will be fit for the match.

According to Chelsea Chronicles, journalist Simon Phillips claimed that the attacker had undergone a scan, and it is believed that there is no major problem, but he is unlikely to feature against Fulham.

Sky Sports heightened the fans' concern after reporting that Palmer was not spotted during the group training at the club's facilities at Cobham on Wednesday morning.
