A promising Italian football player has tragically died after collapsing at home in front of his mother on August 19.
The 30-year-old had joined an Italian non-league side and was scheduled to participate in his first training session with the team after signing his contract.
The player suddenly fell ill and collapsed at home in the presence of his mother as she cried for emergency help while trying to revive the player.

The paramedics also tried to resuscitate the player but were unable to save him.
ASD Castell announces death of player
ASD Castell'Azzara has announced the passing away of Luca Aluisi, who died at the age of 30.
According to Daily Mail, the Aluisi secured a deal with the club located around the Tuscany region in mid-June, which was celebrated.
The 30-year-old was scheduled to kick off pre-season training on August 20 after a successful completion of his medicals before his demise. The club wrote:
"ASD Castell'Azzara is deeply shocked by the tragic news of Luca Aluisi's passing. The young 30-year-old was ready to wear our jersey and embark on this new sporting adventure with enthusiasm.
"The club joins in his family's grief over Luca's sudden loss. Our deepest condolences go out to his loved ones.
"Every training session, every match, every goal: Luca will always be with us. Goodbye Luca."
ASD Castell'Azzara takes part in several football leagues and tournaments, including those run by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC).

More details about Aluisi
Luca Aluisi hails from Marta in the Lazio region of Italy, where he ad played as a midfielder for local clubs.
According to The Mirror, Aluisi's father, Marco, currently a police officer in Viterbo, played for Ischaia di Castor and his boyhood club Virtus Marta.
President of Virtus Marta, Massimo Natali, confirmed that Alusi was a dedicated and committed player during his early days.
Natali added that the late player took part in community activities. He said:
"He had played with us since he was a child, always showing passion and dedication. He was a kind, sensitive young man who took part in community activities. His memory will live on in all of us."
Club owner in England passes away
Legit.ng earlier reported that Chesterfield Football Club has been thrown into mourning following the death of co-owner Phil Kirk at the age of 59.
The League Two side confirmed the heartbreaking news in an official statement, describing Kirk’s passing as “a moment of great sadness” for the entire club and community, as he became involved with Chesterfield in 2022 when he and his brother, Ashley, invested in the club.
