Boniface’s response points to the striker’s determination to keep pushing forward despite setbacks and to silence those questioning his character.

Focus remains on Leverkusen season

Although the collapsed transfer has raised concerns about his long-term fitness, Boniface remains a key player for Bayer Leverkusen.

The Nigerian forward has impressed since joining the Bundesliga side and continues to be regarded as one of the most exciting attacking talents in Europe.

While Milan’s medical team believed the risk was too high to finalise a permanent deal, Boniface’s resilience and hunger could see him bounce back strongly.

His ability to overcome his struggles in the past, including two ACL injuries, suggests the Nigerian forward is unlikely to be fazed by this setback.

For now, Boniface will continue his career in Germany while keeping an eye on future opportunities.
